Tonight's GTA Blogger meet was awesome! It was like a who's who of Toronto bloggers. Best of all, I finally got to meet Best Canadian Blogger, Rannie Turingan. Rannie and I have been organizing and attending blogger meetups for a couple of years, but have never been in the same room together. It seems one of us is at every Toronto event, but never both. I really wanted to say hi to Matt Mullenweg, but never seemed to get the interval to make that happen. Of course, Canadian blogging icon Joey deVilla (and Wendy) was there, as was TorCamp champion, David Crow. Met a lot of other interesting people, sorry if I didn't mention your name, I've got the memory of an IBM AT. Some names I remember...

DemoCamp 4.0

DemoCamp 4.0 was last night and it was a monster hit. Over 150 geeks got together to check out some cool shit. The facilities (MaRS) were amazing. Later, we hung at Pogue Mahones. A big thanks to David Crow for getting the Toronto developer community off their asses. I was late, but I saw presentation for the following cool Toronto developed Websites.

Location: MaRS, South Tower, 101 College Street, Toronto, ON
Post Location: Pogue Mahones, 777 Bay Street just south of College. Reservations are under David Crow

Allison Dunfield: Chou Eng "Charles" Fong, a 27-year-old man, was charged with initiating a relationship with a 15-year-old girl on the Internet using MSN Messenger.

Last night was the Shel Israel book signing in Toronto. I finally got to meet, Rick Segal and Shel Israel. Jeremy Wright was already there, but we didn't cross paths. Lot's of other great people to talk with, like Jon Husband. Thanks go to the organizers.
