I got a recall on my motorhome a few months ago. I brought the RV into Dixie Ford for service. First of all, it's not easy to get into the lot. But don't worry, my story gets worse. I waited around for 15-20 minutes as the service staff had a water cooler party and fun ignoring me. Next, they didn't bother calling me when the RV was ready and simply parked it out front, unlocked with the keys inside for anyone to take home. Last, the recall notice was never filled. I think they changed the part, but they didn't mark the recall complete for my VIN. I won't be going back.

I found out from another mechanic that was servicing my vehicle that the recall wasn't marked filled. I told him where the recall was suppose to be filled and he wasn't surprised. I guess Dixie Ford is getting a reputation of incompetence.

UPDATE: When I discussed this with Dixie Ford, they said they did mark the recall completed. I don't know who to believe.
